I sure hope so. So yesterday I blogged about Google’s new music trends service. I wonder if they ever have the plan of making downloads free. The cost could be supported by a player and download site that contains relevant text ads while listening to the music. Similar to Gmail. Artists could advertise for their concerts and sell merchandise. I know it probably will not happen, but we can all dream right? If anyone can do it, Google can. Who would have thought we would go from 4mb of free webmail space to a 1000mb overnight(and now over 2000mb and growing). Maybe free music is not that radical after all. I mean a lot of people already make it free for themselves anyways. Yahoo streams free music so why can we not take the leap to free downloads.
