Last weekend I went rafting at an event called CruX. Which is a large multi-campus event hosted by Campus Crusade for Christ. It was a blast. It was a great break after a long week. It gave me some time to reflect read the word and pray. I also got to meet some sweet guys from Idaho and just hang out and raft.

Before going I did not have a good attitude about the event for various reasons. However about 2 hours after we arrived I found out I would be guiding a raft down the river and leading a team.( I have guided rafts down this stretch of river before) I was expecting that I would just be a follower this weekend and not have to lead and therefore could keep my bad attitude. But God had other plans, this was God’s answer to my prayer for a better attitude. I knew I could not whine or complain and instead needed to set a good example and be encouraging.
It turned out to be a excellent weekend full of fun and memories. I am so glad that God took my lame attuitude and transformed it into one that allowed me to meet some super nice new guys and have a blast in His beautiful outdoors.
